Explore the visitor center and unique 150-year-old historic homestead site, and join a guided tour. We look forward to sharing the Hutchinson Homestead’s interpretive displays, historic buildings and ranch history with you!
Guided Tours
$10/adult; youth under 18 are free
Guided tours are led by knowledgeable tour guides, and provide a unique opportunity to hear stories of the early generations of the Hutchinson family, and go inside the historic Ranch House, outbuildings, corrals, and farm yard. Walk in the footsteps of those who have lived and worked on this homestead, and see first-hand what life was like on a homestead and working ranch over 150 years ago.
Drop-In Visits
$5 suggested donation
Explore the Visitor Center and walk the grounds of the homestead. The Visitor Center provides a comprehensive introduction of the site through interpretive signage, displays, and a welcome video.

Preservation Tours
For preservation enthusiasts! This tour provides an in-depth explanation of the preservation methods used to rehabilitate the historic buildings. You’ll see clues in the buildings that reveal insights into the past and you’ll be amazed at surprising discoveries uncovered during construction. By appointment only. Student/Youth Programs
We are happy to provide homestead tours as part of a school field trip experience. Youth programs at the Hutchinson Homestead & Learning Center are provided through Guidestone Colorado’s Farmhands Education Program.
